It has been a tiring, busy last week of term, so I am glad I had a chance to do a non-work activity and take a quick backstage tour of the fantastic Warwick Arts Centre. The Centre is a great resource to have on campus, offering movies, plays, music, a bookstore, and the always innovative Mead Gallery, not to mentions a cafe and restaurant. So I am pleased that I was able to see some of the nooks and crannies that we don’t often get to visit. Here are a few pics. The cinema has had a state of the art digital projection system for the last few years, but they still have some of the old 35mm projectors. The other photos are from behind the theatre, where they bring in, store, and create the heavy props for the theatre and studio space… Finally, a photo at the exhibition at the Mead Gallery (oops, later on I was told not to take photos) and a previous Taiko drums event.
